Engaging your people


Having identified the scope of engagement open to other levels, we work with you to engage the wider leader and employee population in the business challenge via these principles:

  • People need to be engaged in solving real and specific business challenges and opportunities such as innovation, efficiency, customer experience, business strategy, operational improvement and change, rather than participating in a conceptual ‘engagement programme’.
  • Outcomes precede design of interventions. We work with you to identify business outcomes before we design options for an intervention. A common mistake is to move too hastily to intervention design.
  • The outcomes need to balance the needs of the business with the needs of its people.

What does an engagement intervention look like? The key is to involve the right people or everyone in solving the business issues to hand reducing spectator time to 10% or less and maximising active participation.
